Patrick Duffy
Patrick Duffy has a playing record exceeded only by his contributions to golf on the state and national levels.
His six state titles include the 2006 Nebraska Match Play Championship. He’s played in nine USGA championships, including the 2010 U.S. Mid-Amateur when he reached the round of 16.
He was the 2018 winner of the prestigious Crump Cup at Pine Valley and has top-10 finishes in the Coleman Invitational at Seminole and the George C. Thomas Invitational at Los Angeles Country Club.
Patrick’s efforts brought U.S. Senior Opens to Omaha Country Club in 2013 and 2021. The 2013 event was the most successful in tournament history. Pandemic limitations impacted the return in 2021.
He was Nebraska Golf Association president in 2012-13, a director of the NGA from 2004 to 2014 and the Nebraska Golf Foundation from 2011 to 2017. He has been a member of the USGA Regional Affairs Committee since 2010 and the official in charge of U.S. Open local qualifying in the state since 2012.
Patrick was the Class A high school champion as a freshman in 1987 at Firethorn and played for Southern California before graduation in 1994.
